Top Ten Oscar Jewelry Picks
Below is my Top 10 list for the best jewelry at the Oscars last night (in no particular order). There was a lot of colorful and interesting jewelry this year, which made for amazing eye candy on the red carpet. Do note that my picks are based on the individual pieces of jewelry, not the overall look (or whether I liked the dress!).
Marissa Tomei in Van Cleef & Arpels. These earrings were quite possibly my favorites of the night. The jewelry truly made her outfit.
Anne Hathaway in Tiffany & Co. Anne was the belle of the ball last night and perfectly channeled old Hollywood glamour with a over 100 carats worth of diamonds on her person.

I’m a sucker for all things gilded. I love delicate chains, chunky cocktail rings and statement necklaces in sparkly, shiny gold. In terms of trends, metallics are super hot for spring, and mixing metals is no longer taboo.
Lately, my eye is drawn to gold of a rosier shade. Rose Gold jewelry is having it’s moment right now. The warm tone is universally flattering. Erickson Beamon held the most beautiful ballerina-themed Fashion Week presentation on Sunday night at Milk Studios. Check out our video footage of the event featuring twelve ballerinas from the Russian American Foundation’s Bolshoi Ballet Academy decked out in Erickson Beamon, moving to the sounds of Jim Palmer of the Metropolitan Opera and violinist Tim Fain.
