Its not unusual for couples to spend six months to a year planning their wedding; there are many details to attend to and choices to make. One of the most important is how you choose to capture these precious moments.
Unfortunately, more than one couple has experienced the shock of arranging the ceremony and reception so that everything is perfect in the big picture; the decorations are lovely and the musicians are playing their favorite tunes. But suddenly they realize that something is missing-how are they going to remember all of this?
Wedding video captures the action and fun that takes place around your photos. Every couple has an idea of how they want their wedding to be; the essence of this should be captured in the video.
First, check with your church and reception venue to be clear on their rules about filming.

My favorite outfit (a look by Peter Som), from Michelle Obamas sartorial tour this week through England. I absolutely love the vintage brooch she paired with the gorgeous ombre ensemble.

This past weekend I took a trip with my mom to our fairly new 1928 boutique retail store in Studio City to buy some gifts and do some shopping. I love coming here because the strip is a bustling area, filled with salivating food joints like Umami Burger, The Counter and Chipotle (all amazing!), as well as thrift stores and boutique shops. For those of you not familiar with Studio City, its a nice little neighborhood in LA close to all the major studios like ABC, NBC, CBS, Disney Animation, etc., so its not a surprise to see stars like Britney Spears, Terri Hatcher and James Francowho was shopping at our store for Mothers Day
. Unfortunately, the poor guy was being attacked by the paparazzi.
My mom and I ended up buying all of our gifts here including this adorable Long Sparrow and Leaf Necklace in rose gold tones and the flower button earrings (available online)!

If youre in California and happen to be in LA, remember to visit our retail store, eat some good food and shop away! Yo

A Few Goody Gumdrops loves diamonds! Weve found the perfect accessory for thelittle black dressthe Black Diamond featured above from Leibish & Co. The Black Diamond is both sophisticated and glamorous. While the pink and yellow diamonds are more classic, the black diamond is unique and ever-so elegant. We love the intensity of the black stone.
All you need is one gorgeous Black Diamond to be the envy of all your friends. Looks ultra-chic with a sexy black dress or jeans and a blazer. Although Black Diamonds are rare and pricey, theyre more reasonably priced than colored diamonds. One of our favorite colored stones is the stunning Argyle Diamond. The Argyle Brown colored diamonds are totally chic. Argyle Diamonds range in color from purplish pink to pink champagne to blue violet and brown.
Leibish & Co house both natural Black Diamonds and Argyle Stones. All

The pattern is one of those “so ugly it’s cool” designs and the zebra part of this Swash Zebra Scarf Silk Crepe de Chine Bags isn’t obvious at first but it’s there if you really look. The relaxed shape is uber comfortable in off-white silk crepe de chine with a single, extra wide black leather shoulder strap. Other features include designer stamped tag, an open top, and an interior lined in brown cotton (it’s wrinkled a little like a brown paper bag). Proof that statement bags don’t have to be just for evening. $505
