Marking Special Dates

Posted by | Posted on 13-12-2011

Life is full of special moments, but some moments are so special they call for commemoration. Weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, losses, special accomplishments, life-changing moments.

Weve had the privilege of creating personalized jewelry to help our customers commemorate all of these types of special moments  some joyous, some sad, each one very significant. Creating a piece of jewelry that holds a very special date can provide comfort, joy, pride, peace. It is one of our favorite types of jewelry to create.

You might be surprised to discover how many different ways we can present that special date on our jewelry.

Project Accessory Episode 6: The Wizard of Oz

Posted by | Posted on 10-12-2011

This week’s episode was The Wizard of Oz. The show began with Kenneth Cole’s noir directive for Holiday 2011 — clearly a nod to the personal style of Wicked Witch of East. Then there was our lion-hearted Adrian who was trying with all his might to tame his wild design nature and find a gentler approach. Diego, our man of straw, seemed to hav

Keep Your Hands Beautiful to Show Off Your Ring

Posted by | Posted on 09-12-2011

Your honey went to all the trouble of choosing an absolutely gorgeous rock for you to flash on your third finger, but if your cuticles are thrashed, your nail polish is chipped, and you’ve neglected to use lotion for the past week (leaving your hands drier than the Sahara desert) you may not be too keen to show of your hands or your band. So if you’re just dying to waggle that finger in the face of anyone interested enough to look, here are just a few good ways to treat your manual woes and get your hands in presentable condition.

1. Dry skin. Even if you’re rushed in the morning, take a minute to apply some moisturizer to your hands. Immediately after a shower is the best time since your pores are open and ready to absorb moisture and lock it in. Look for a thick, creamy lotion (like Jergen’s Shea Butter Lotion) that will leave your skin soft and smooth.

2. Yucky nails. Even if you’re not a nail-biter you can end up with some pretty mangled claws if you don’t pay attention. You should

One of the best things about being a bride is being able to pick out the shoes for the most important day of your life. This may sound funny to most, but for shoe lovers, this is a very serious and exciting task! There are so many stressful moments when planning a wedding that picking out your wedding shoes seems like a day at Disney Land.

Brides have so much freedom when picking out wedding shoes, why not pick out a pair of shoes that have a little pop? Consider adding texture and pattern to the classic white wedding shoe. Polka dots, stripes, lace, flowers, there are so many possibilities!
